My 30 Day writing challenge

Today I’m beginning a new experience. I love writing, but I do have issues with consistency. It seems I only write when I’m in a heightened emotional state. It makes sense, I guess. I use my writing to express how I feel.

Even so, I want to do some consistent writing. It’s been a goal of mine for quite some time. At The Kernel I had issues with keeping up the writing. These problems also revisited me at

It’s time to face the problem and do something about it. So, in true Internet culture, I’m imposing a 30 days writing challenge on myself.

I have no idea what I will write about but do expect a wide variety of topics. From startup related rants, to very personal thoughts on life and other things.

There are several ideas I want to explore. The first one is to try and keep my essays short. I tend to ramble too much, and when doing my pieces, I take too long. As it takes too long, it takes a toll on my brain. And then I stop writing altogether.

Another idea I want to try is to keep up the writing frequency, even during the weekend. The only rule is that I’ll write at least one article each day. It could be that I write several pieces a day too.

I’ve wanted to write a book for quite some time. This experience will be a nice testing ground to see if I’m capable of doing sustainable writing.

Some articles will be utter shit, others maybe too personal for a broader audience. I hope, though, that everyone gets to read one or two posts that they enjoy. Feel free to drop any comment or ideas on what you want me to write next. More than happy to make this a collaborative effort.

Ready, player one. Go!
